New Years Fun: Another Killer Brought to Justice

I have finally recovered from New Year’s enough to write about it. All I can say is, “WOW! New Year’s was incredible!” A sold out event with 91 people really made this night special. The guests who attended did such an amazing job of getting into their character’s roles and really embracing the mystery. Above and beyond dressing amazingly, giving great cheers, speeches, and countdowns, this group really worked the mystery. The killer was brought to justice by 21 of the guests. I hear the killer is currently sitting in prison awaiting a trial date; you may be called upon at a later date to testify.

The most thoroughly completed game answer sheets of the night were submitted by: Michelle Hester, Lori Becker and Carol Armstrong, with Michelle Hester taking home the grand prize.

Other notable category winners of the night include:

Best Detective Work: Mike Hester

Most Innovative Approach to the Mystery: Mark Cook

Best Dressed (Male): Ned Gerth

Best Dressed (Female): Page Long

Best Detective Note Taking: Jackie Price

Make sure you check back on the website frequently to see details for the next event. We plan on having a wonderful pre-St. Patrick’s Day event entitled “Pot of Death” on Saturday, 3/15/08 from 6:30-10:30. We are still negotiating details with our venue, but will publish this info as well as pricing as soon as it is confirmed. I look forward to seeing you all at the next event! Have fun out there and remember: Keep on Sleuthing!
