1. What do you do at a murder mystery event?
The main goal of any murder mystery event is to have fun! Although each mystery is unique, generally you will be playing a character that is accused of being a murderer.

The objective of the game is to prove your innocence by searching through physical evidence, finding clues, opening puzzle boxes, questioning your fellow guests and ultimately revealing the real killer.

Playing our murder mysteries has been compared to "being a detective in a live version of CSI." Although you probably won't be using a high powered microscope during the murder mystery, just like Gil Grissom, you will have to analyze the mystery details to solve the case.

2. When does the mystery start/end?
The schedule is flexible.

Dinner mysteries generally run from 6PM-10PM.

Weekend events typically start around 7PM on Friday and end around 12PM on Sunday.

3. What should I wear?
The atmosphere at murder mysteries is fun and relaxing, so wear whatever makes you comfortable.

That being said, after you reserve your ticket you will get a character profile and packet in the mail. The character packet will have suggestions for outfits that will help you transform into the character.

We have found that the more people adopt their character, the more fun they have.

4. How many people come to an event?
Our mysteries generally range from 10-200 participants.

The number of people at an event is generally limited by the venue size.

5. What should I bring?
Bring a good attitude and a willingness to have fun!

Depending on the type of mystery you are attending (dinner or weekend), bring whatever you would normally bring to a dinner out or a weekend trip away.

Costumes and props that help showcase your character profile are always enjoyable!

6. Are the mysteries kid friendly?
The youngest participants we have had at a mystery have been 12 years old (with a parent). However, each mystery is different and there can be some adult content.

The mysteries are geared towards adults, so it is best to call, (513) 509-4709, to discuss the mystery if you have younger participants.
